The placement process begins in September with the compilation of students profile and the preparation and printing of the placement brochure. Students, along with faculty members visit and get the exposure of industries from October to December and Industries start visiting the campus for pre-placement discussion from December to the end of January.
The Placement Process at IAMR aims to identify the Industry Institute Interface gap and match the requirements of the corporate world with the aspirations of the students, thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two.

Summer Internship Program
As per current corporate scenario and curriculum, PGDM students are required to undergo Summer Internship with an organization for a period of 8 weeks. The Internship has two objectives. First, to provide and explore a platform to the students to learn and apply their classroom knowledge and enhance their ability to define, diagnose and analyze a Specific managerial problem and search for its appropriate solution. In addition to this they also experience a glimpse of the present corporate environment and an appreciation of the interpersonal skills required to excel in the workplace. With this vast exposure of handling a live problem, student comes out of the Summer Internship with a much better understanding of intricate issues being faced by the organization, a greater Appreciation of operating variables, supplemented by a cognizance of the larger Business environment.

The Final Placements for the graduating students is facilitated through the following processes:
It is necessary to provide an opportunity for the companies to interact with the students as Pre-Placement Talks or Company Presentations in order to understand their expectations and appraisal them of the job requirements and job profiles offered.
This process is usually conducted in the month of February, and can continue for a
Fortnight before the Final Placements. Companies are required to conduct a Pre- Placement Talk so that they can interact with the students and invite CVs for scrutiny, based on their profiles.
IAMR facilitates on campus, Placement takes place through the following mechanisms:
Spot Offers: Companies makes an offer to suitable student s in-hand before completing the entire interview process with all short-listed candidates.
Final Selection list: A company may interview all the short-listed candidates before arriving at a list of selected students. Such a list is considered as a Final Selection List.
